Rotacan's Involvement in ICAMP

ICAMP facility

Canadore College of North Bay Ontario, opened its Innovation Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Production (ICAMP) facility in September 2013. The $2.8 million centre houses highly-specific technology and equipment for companies to research and create new products.

Rotacan was approached by Canadore College President George Burton two years prior to the realization of ICAMP with an “idea” of a Living Lab for product and process Innovation. As the lead support in the project and a long time mentor to the technology programs offered by Canadore, Rotacan is proud of its association with the College.

ICAMP - A Living Lab

The Innovation Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Production (ICAMP) opened its doors in September 2013. It provides the necessary resources for companies to research and create new products without any heavy investment in specific technologies. This 8,500 square foot industrial centre is focused on product innovation allowing companies to access the technologies and resources for the development of new products and processes or the refining of existing products and processes.
